Carlos introduced this disruptive education model to Mozambique in 2021. After refining the vision and adapting it to the local context, YOLO officially launched in January 2024. A serial entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience, he is guided by a strong purpose: helping people discover and live their true potential.
Lam has been a pioneer of this educational model in Mozambique since 2021. As Managing Partner and School Director, she oversees daily operations and ensures students have the structure, care and conditions they need to thrive. Her hospitality background brings a culture of excellence and student-centred service.
Lauryn has been part of YOLO since its creation, bringing experience across communications, education and youth development. Through learning design, storytelling, community engagement and mentoring, she helps build a more confident, informed and connected generation.
